The Walton Area Chamber YP @ the Beach hosted a breakfast event this morning in The Sandestin Magnolia Ballroom featuring speaker Gov. Mike Huckabee. He discussed many topics including his love of our area, accountability & responsibility and even offered advice for our local high school students – live a clean life and take advantage of your education.
The 26th Annual Navarre Fun Fest will be on Navarre Beach on May 14th & 15th 2010. This year’s event will have non-stop entertainment including fireworks, arts & crafts, live entertainment on the Fun Fest Main Stage all weekend, a children’s area, and plenty of great food! Festival hours are Friday 4 pm – 10 pm and Saturday 10 am – 10 pm with fireworks at 9:30 pm. A great way to spend your weekend!
Musical Echoes, a celebration of Native American culture, will be held at Fort Walton
Landing, April 24th through April 26th. The theme for this year is the Panther. Enjoy music and dancing from internationally acclaimed Native American musicians and dancers, craft demonstrations, or attend a seminar to learn how to make and play a Native American style flute! There will also be an outdoor market featuring Native American wares.
