Twin Creek Crossing is adding 40,000 square feet of retail space adjacent to the recently opened Marquis Cinema in Crestview. Construction is expected to to begin in August and be completed in less than a year. In addition, Johnny O’Quigley’s has plans to add a family oriented flagship restaurant across from Jenkins’ produce market.
This year marks the 25th Annual Gate to Gate Memorial Day 4.4 mile run/walk on Eglin Air Force Base. Events start at 7:30 am Monday May 31st and are open to the public. On Saturday and Sunday, April 10-11, Pelican will conduct open houses at an estimated 100 homes in Northwest Florida. Blue balloons, featuring the Realtor “R” in white, will denote those homes that are part of the statewide open house campaign. The Florida Open House Weekend comes just before the April 30, 2010, deadline for the federal homebuyer tax credit. Homes need to be under contract by April 30, 2010, and closed by June 30, 2010, to take advantage of up to $8,000 in tax credits.
